Course Objective

On completion of this course, the participant will gain an appreciation of production and processing cycle of Specialty Coffee from bean to cup and it’s impact on coffee flavour notes, understanding and application of different factors of coffee extraction to tweak it to your preference, the art of steaming and foaming milk with an espresso machine for basic latte art.

  • Understanding coffee production, coffee grading, roasting and impact on taste

  • Application of adjusting Brewing Parameters to change and calibrate the taste of your coffee according to your personal preference

  • Proper Positioning with an espresso machine's steam wand and ideal milk temperature

  • Practice hand movements of performing milk swirls and actions
