Fermented foods are thought to benefit your immune system, aid digestion and offer a greater sense of well-being. They all have the benefit of bringing flavour without having to add anything else. On this course we will show you different ways to incorporate them into your diet.
On this class we will make dishes such as:
Kimchi Pancakes
Miso soup with Kombucha-marinated Tofu
Polish Sauerkraut and Potato Dumplings
Socca Crepes with panfried Mushrooms and Fermented Cashew Cheese Sauce
Marinated Chipotle Tempeh Brochettes
Coffee Kombucha Tiramisu
The course is a combination of demonstration and hands on participation.

We will be rolling oats, kibbling barley and sharing our fermenting techniques to create a unique loaf. We will be baking sourdough as well as the humble crispbread washed down with a freshly milled rye and chocolate brownie.Â
At this gut health class, Emily will help you understand more about what the gut microbiota is and what our amazing bacteria can do. She will then go on to show you how to prepare some fermented foods, easily from scratch, giving you the know how to take away, along with your filled up jars.
