• We’re here to help you find the perfect place to eat in Windsor Essex County. We started out back in 1999 as Windsor’s first online restaurant guide and menu guide.
• Today the new Eyes On Windsor focuses on fun things to do, see and experience in the Windsor Essex County area.
• In addition to great restaurants and cafes we’re here to keep you up to date on all that Windsor Essex has to offer. This includes festivals, wineries, attractions, places to stay, outdoor activities, family fun, community events and more. Windsor Essex is a great community that works together to support each other and help those who are less fortunate. That’s why we do our best to help organizations and non-profits too through volunteering and helping to spread their message and events.
• Locals using our website are often surprised at how much Windsor Essex has to offer right in their own “back yard”. Visitors to Canada’s most southern region use our website to plan and find whatever they need to enjoy this unique tourist destination.
• We are passionate about showing you all that Windsor Essex has to offer.
• You see, we spent our whole lives here except for a four year period. During that time we pursued career opportunities in the Greater Toronto Area. Living in Toronto during those years we realized that the GTA is beautiful and has lots to offer. Regardless, we missed the charm of our “hometown” of Windsor Essex County. For those busy four years we left EyesOnWindsor.com online but did not continue updating it. As restaurants closed and new ones opened EyesOnWindsor.com became outdated. Even though we lived in Toronto, people continued to email and ask us questions which we happily replied to.
• Since returning to Windsor we have made it our mission to discover and share all there is to enjoy in our region. Quite frankly, we’re surprised by how much there’s to do and see around here (we keep making awesome discoveries as our region develops). Moving away was a blessing because it’s given us the gift of awareness and the ability to see what so many visitors to our region are raving about.
