What You'll Learn
On successful completion of the program, students receive a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (B.S.B.A) in Hospitality Tourism Management. The curriculum includes hospitality and tourism courses and courses from the disciplines of accounting, computer information systems, economics, finance, law, marketing, management, mathematics and quantitative analysis.
Hospitality and tourism courses include The Hospitality and Tourism Services Industry, Hospitality Facilities Management, Bar and Beverage Operations, and International Studies in Hospitality and Tourism. All students complete a required internship experience.

The Hospitality and Tourism program provides students with the knowledge they need about the various industry sectors such as restaurants/food services, hotels/resorts, special events/meeting planning, and other tourism businesses.
Completion of our bachelor's degree requires a minimum of 120 credit hours of course work and a minimum of 1,000 clock hours of work experience in the hospitality industry.
The Georgia State B.B.A. in Hospitality Administration program provides a well-integrated curriculum with a focus in general business and hospitality while incorporating courses on the arts and sciences that prepare students for management positions in the hospitality industry.
Our Hospitality and Event Management Program focuses on helping you develop critical thinking skills through experiential learning. Students take courses to learn about culinary arts and food service, lodging, event planning, nutrition, and business to build skills for a variety of professions.
