Per Indian custom, the meal should consist of varied flavors and textures to make it complete.
Meghna Agarwal will lead you in making a celebratory thali menu, with subtly spiced Karahi Chicken and Paneer Tikka, Green Beans with coconut and curry leaves, and Dahi Aloo, a potato curry that will teach you the essential Indian cooking technique of boosting a dish to soaring heights of flavor with a tempering of whole spices.
The richer centerpiece dishes will be offset by fragrant Rice Pulao, fiery and sweet Chutneys and palate-cooling Raita.
After the cooking concludes, we will gather around the table to share the colorful feast we have cooked together, along with chilled beers, selected wines, and sweet and tangy Strawberry Lassi.
