MoonLyte Cooking offers after-school cooking classes to Title 1 schools & Non-Profit Organization. The schools & nonprofits are mainly located in food desert areas. Every week these little chefs will be making 2 fun and creative recipes (savory & sweet) using seasonal ingredients. They will learn beginner safety knife skills, different plating techniques, the basics of cooking, and the science behind why it works.
Join the Cookshop instructors for this eight week series. In this weekly class, we will work our way through lessons on important kitchen techniques, ingredient investigations, and essential cooking skills.
During our 4-day specialty themed camps, your child will learn a variety of culinary skills and will create a total of 10-12 delicious recipes. Â They will also get to nurture their artistic side while making 1-2 crafts.
