More advanced classes at Bakers Buzzin' geared towards Junior Chefs who are ready for a next level cooking experience and have a desire to build on existing skills and knowledge!
We are excited to offer these new classes with a focus on recipes that take longer to prepare, use a broader range of ingredients and may be a bit more challenging to get to the final product. Four amazing classes each month!
Since 2013, we have been teaching children that cooking is fun, interesting, exciting and delicious! We encourage children to be excited about learning to cook and to follow recipes both here in our kitchen and at home.
We accomplish this by teaching with ingredients and equipment easily found at home and at the local grocery store and by focusing on recipes children actually want to make and eat. When we opened that September our lives and so many others were forever changed.
Led by experienced teachers, Cassie Hwang and Mariela Aguilar, who teach after-school cooking classes at St. David's Episcopal School, your little one will love learning to make deliciously cute, "Acorn Spice Cookies"Â during this 1-hour, hands-on class.
Every week these little chefs will be making 2 fun and creative recipes (savory & sweet) using seasonal ingredients. They will learn beginner safety knife skills, different plating techniques, the basics of cooking, and the science behind why it works.
Children’s classes are fun, hand-on classes where little chefs learn, create, eat and have lots of fun. Children will be coached by an Instructor and will work in teams to make each menu item.
Our Teen cooking classes are designed for teenagers. It is a great way to introduce cooking, and the method and techniques involved with producing wonderful food. If your teenager has a desire to cook, these are the classes for them. We will teach them the basics of culinary art.
Junior Chef Cooking Class. During this 6 week session, we will focus on the nutrition qualities & common culinary techniques from each of the 5 food groups. Your cook will gain culinary techniques, try new recipes, and gain nutrition awareness.
