We offer chef-led, market-driven hands-on and demonstration cooking classes both at your place or ours. Our central location in the Lonsdale Quay Market offers us the opportunity to provide fresh local market ingredients like vegetables, fish, spices, bread, wine and beer.
In this course you will learn how to forge a 9" knife to completion from raw bar stock. Learn all the steps in basic knife forging from general shaping to heat treating grinding and finishing.
Learn cooking skills in a relaxed and interactive environment. These cooking sessions will provide the opportunity to explore and practice topics related to cooking skills, knife skills, meal planning, nutrition, and food safety.
This program of “the basics” will guide everyone from the amateur cook to our self-proclaimed home gourmets. Starting with essential knife skills, our chefs will help you learn to be comfortable and confident in the kitchen.
During three in person classes, kids learn different cooking techniques, knife skills and flavour combos.
