You will be cooking authentic Sopa de Tortilla (Corn Tortilla Soup), Arroz a la Mexicana (Mexican Rice), Carnitas (Pulled Pork), Barbacoa (Lamb Stew), Cochinita Pibil (Southeast Mayan dish), Gorditas (Corn Masa patties stuffed), Tortillas (fresh Corn Masa), Salsas (Roja, Verde, Pico se Gallo), Guacamole (traditional Avocado Dip), desserts (Pastel de Tres Leches and Flan) and Agua Fresca (Jamaica and Horchata).
You'll learn the recipes, the tips and techniques of Mexican cooking, and you'll get to enjoy the lovely flavours each evening.
Come and enjoy four evenings of delicious Mexican food with Silvia. Enjoy the magic of Mexico while learning to cook traditional Mexican cuisine full or fragrance and taste. On the last night you will celebrate with a Mexican fiesta!
Selwyn Community Education is a community education centre based at Selwyn College, Kohimarama, Auckland. Each year we offer a wide range of more than 750 evening and weekend courses, plus some daytime English for Migrants courses.
During the school holidays, we offer children's art, cooking and craft courses. Join us on one of our friendly courses to meet others in the community, learn new skills and have fun.

During school term time, our office is open 9am - 9pm on Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays. On Thursdays and Fridays, we are open 9am - 3pm. Once a month we are open for a weekend programme of courses. During school holidays we are open for limited hours.
