We Offer Contemporary Dance classes of all levels and styles geared towards adults and teenagers that are looking to begin, sustain, or revisit their love for dance. To ignite social awareness and change through dance performance, education, and community engagement.
This class is for students who have some previous experience or training in contemporary dance, or with other related dance styles such as ballet, modern and jazz. The class includes warm up exercises, across the floor combinations, and choreographic variations
This class is designed to teach a style of theatrical dance that rejects the limitations of classical ballet and favors movement deriving from the expression of inner feelings
Students will engage with the defining movement concepts of modern dance including suspension and release, fall and recovery, the use of momentum and connecting breath with movement
