  • Tatum Govender, who is passionate, thriving and open-minded in her love for dancing. Ever since she was a little girl, she has always been so fascinated and amazed by the Arts, whether it would be dancing, singing or even acting, she never said no. However, out of those three dance is what stole her heart. From ballet offered at primary schools, to dance mouse to finding the X on the map at a small studio with 5 rookies with a talent and love for dancing is where it all began. She has been exposed and trained in many styles such as Hip Hop, Dancehall, Wacking, Locking and Breaking. She has excelled in her school dancing which landed her the opportunity to dance for the Gauteng and International Dance Sport School League team three times in a row. All of these opportunities and hard work has not only made her stronger and confident in herself, but also the love for sharing her talent with people around, specifically kids. She has a very large space and love for children in her heart. Teaching and dancing with children have opened her eyes on how dance is the language for all ages. No one is better, superior, has more rhythm than the other or is wiser than the other. The best lesson she has learnt, is that in life you never stop learning.
