The Professional Culinary Program is designed to enhance the amount of time you spend in the kitchen rather than behind a desk. From day-one to graduation you could be working in the field within a year. Based on French & Italian classic fundamentals, you will learn everything you need to jump-start your career.
We’ll be enjoying 3 different oyster varieties from the North Carolina coast, provided by Locals Seafood, along with wine, beer, or non-alcoholic beverage pairings. You’ll learn the basics of shucking and get creative suggestions for toppings, beyond cocktail sauce.
3 Fish Recipes Everyone Should Know is offered by the Savory celebration. Many of our dinners will feature aspects of education within them, like cooking demos tableside, or chef’s table style cooking.  Our cooking classes are not just learning recipes, but techniques you can take.
“Partners in crime” are sentenced to an evening with a seafood extravaganza! Dun Dun. We’ll bring the summer shore right to you & your special someone during this class.  A seafood boil with shrimp, crab, mussels, beef sausages and root veggies. Â
At the end of class, we all sit down to enjoy the meal together and if it makes you more comfortable, you may opt to take your portion to go.
Just because we’re landlocked doesn’t mean we can’t enjoy the taste of the sea! Most of us avoid making seafood because we don’t love the smell of it after dinner is over, or some of them can be just so darn hard to get perfect.
