Established in 1239 as a Dominican friary, Blackfriars’ rich heritage is the cornerstone of Newcastle’s historic past with the friary being the jewel in the city’s medieval heart.
As a former friary in commercial use today, Blackfriars has become one of the city’s most recognised restaurants and is now regarded as a local institution.
Europe is formed by 44 Countries big and small. Whilst the food in the Southern European countries has many similarities. The same can be said for the countries in the North, East and West of Europe. All unique cuisines and yet with many similarities amongst them.
You’ll come away with the confidence to cook using a variety of spices, and the ability to whip up some seriously impressive dishes. You’ll finish this class with amazing dinner: vibrant Paella, delicious Cocido Madrileno and die for Crema Catalana!
