If you have always wanted to add homemade sushi to your cooking repertoire, come learn from the best! Learn how to cook perfect sushi rice, select and prepare the fish, properly cut vegetables, and roll the ingredients the correct way.
Sushi is a Japanese dish of prepared vinegared rice accompanied by a variety of ingredients. The styles of sushi and its presentation vary widely, but the one key ingredient is "sushi rice." In this class, we will use our knife skills as we prepare to create our own vegetable sushi.
In this class, you will have the chance to observe how to hand craft Ramen and then will break into groups of 3-4 to make your own. The noodles will then be added to a delicious Mongolian Beef recipe, complete with Naan Bread made in a cast iron skillet for maximum flavor and texture.
Learn the basics of rolling sushi, tempura shrimp, then roll your own creations (smoked salmon, crab, avocado, cream cheese, cucumber, tempura shrimp)
