This will be part of a series of Caribbean Cook Up evenings where you will prepare a selection of dishes from across the Caribbean. The series will feature all vegetarian recipes of which, some dishes you may know and others you will not.
We will eat together after our delicious cook up! Bring your own tupperware just in case there are leftovers- and your own apron!

Vegan Cookery Class Everybody is talking about vegan food right now. It’s good for your health, it’s good for the planet and it’s good for animals. But does it taste good? It certainly does. And how do you make sure you have a balanced diet? Easily, when you know the basics.
There is a wonderful variety of plant-based food available today, and we’re here to help you utilise the diverse range of ingredients that come from the plant world.
You’ll learn how to cook delicious plant-based dishes that are nutritionally balanced, using real ingredients such as pulses, grains and vegetables. We only use natural and additive-free ingredients as we don’t believe in using unnatural substitute ingredients.
Delicacy Baingan Bharta (Smoked Aubergine) class is offered by Namaste Cookery School for all ages. The cookery class takes place on the fourth Sunday of every month and conducted by our Chef Dalsukh Jetani.
There is a large rise in people turning to a plant based diet. However it is important, in order to sustain this, that there is a good base knowledge of the nutrition required to maintain a healthy body and a selection of recipes to prevent it becoming boring.
