The Academy offers a unique learning environment and is not just a ‘dancing school’ – it is a place where everyone involved is focused on the happiness and development of all students through dance education, experiences and opportunities whilst building the foundations of friendship, confidence and a bright future.
The Academy has classes, programs and opportunities for the beginner and/or hobby student through to the elite aspiring dancer.
In 2019 The Academy was the Winner of the Commerce Ballarat Federation Business School Creative Industries Business Excellence Award and was also a Finalist the previous year.
The Academy’s teaching faculty provides a harmonious blend of youth, enthusiasm, experience and dedication which collaborate to ensure every student is nurtured and provided a quality level of training. Faculty members include professional dancers and highly qualified and experienced artists.
The Academy of Classical Ballet provides a professional level of training with individual care. RAD Syllabus and Examinations available as well as Open Classical Classes and various complimentary training offered.
Through singing, acting and dancing students develop skills in Musical Theatre with engaging activities. They develop the confidence to sing and dance focusing on developing musical knowledge and expanding their performance ability.
Acro Classes for all ages, including an Acrobatics and Skills Class for junior students working on the fundamentals of acrobatics - balance, coordination, strength and flex.
Students develop a strong dance technique whilst learning industry standard choreography in various styles of jazz including Broadway, Commercial, Hip-Hop and more.
The Academy's Contemporary classes focus on strong technique within creative and abstract dance as well as artistic expression within movement.
