VRA encourages private lessons a minimum of twice a week to ensure students develop confidence, strength and equestrian skills.  As students progress they are moved into beginning group lessons at the determination of the instructor. Please contact us to schedule private lessons.

Atlanta Riding Academy offers hunt seat riding lessons. The Academy is for those seeking excellence in the art, sport and discipline of Hunter/Jumper riding. Safety and skill building are emphasized in all aspects of the riding program.

Ellenwood Equestrian Center offers English riding lessons year around to folks of all ages and abilities. Our emphasis is on dressage – we do not teach any jumping. New riders learn all the basics necessary to continue into the beautiful art of dressage, should they desire to get more serious.

For beginners or more seasoned riders, we offer top-quality horse riding training that focuses on fundamentals and horsemanship skills in a safe and individualized environment.

Beginners are scheduled in private 30-minute lessons until they can safely navigate in a group lesson. This can take a few lessons or many lessons depending on the age, athletic ability and maturity of the rider.

Our lesson program focuses on developing young and novice riders into their full potential. We offer a comprehensive program with step by step direction to allow you or your children to grow no matter what level.
