Take an informative and elements of hands-on American smoking BBQ class and learn about the four main BBQ regions of the United States and the differences between them. Explore techniques such as smoking with charcoal and the low and slow method to produce mouth watering, fall off the bone meat every time you BBQ!
On arrival to your cooking class, you will be provided with a cold beer and an apron before being welcomed by your Chefs for the day. They will outline expected competencies from the session, discuss the format of the day and introduce the menu. In the smoking class, there will be meat that has been pre-smoked and cooked so the end product can be tasted and discussed. In the class, you and the chef will also prepare fresh meat for smoking to demonstrate and learn the techniques. The chef will cover equipment, the Texas crutch method, troubleshooting & temperatures.
