History of Skills4Work
Skills4Work is an organisation focussed on skill development across a range of industries and sectors and has a rich history which has transformed it into the organisation it is today.
The organization was first established in 1992 as a Private Training Establishment (PTE) within Foodstuffs and after its acquisition by Animation College in 2014 was re-established as an independent registered PTE in November 2016.
The organisation’s “Support Office” and purpose-built Training Centre are situated on Ronwood Ave in Manukau, Auckland. In August 2021, Skills4Work became New Zealand’s first Private Training Establishment (PTE) to undertake the arranging training function in Retail Butchery in line with the government’s mandated transition of all Industry Training Organisation’s (ITO).
Skills4Work is a niche provider in the New Zealand education sector. Being the only active NZQA accredited Private Training Establishment with the dual role of awarding the butchery qualification nationwide.
Skills4Work has the function of arranging training and manages the end-to-end apprenticeship process for both Butchery and Bakery apprentices across New Zealand.

In this class you’ll learn to make dramatic petit gateaux using one of my most loved ingredients, Pedro ximinez sherry.
This sourdough bread class is brilliant for both beginners and experienced bakers alike. During this course we will bake many different kinds of bread as well learn the science behind making, kneading, scoring and using different sourdough starters.
In this class you’ll learn to make a devancent and delicious gianduja (chocolate hazelnut) choux pastry.
