This Bao Class will likely increase your Bao obsession but hey ho, let’s Bao down to the Bao! In this class you will learn how to make one of Taiwan’s most loved and delicious dishes – Gua Bao! Including an array of mouth-wateringly delicious fillings.
Oh gosh! We are officially obsessed with these pillows of heaven that are Gua Bao and we have officially mastered the best Bao in London, if not the continent or can we say it – the world (mwahahaha)!!! As it’s in our nature to share, we want to teach you our favourites on this delightful and incredibly popular Bao Class.
This class will teach you how to knead, steam and fill beautiful, light and fluffy Bao Buns. You will be waving goodbye to the days of average shop-bought or flavourless restaurant Bao, and learn how to not only achieve perfect, fluffy, dreamlike buns, but create a burst of flavour in the fillings!
On arrival, you will be greeted by our friendly chefs and a glass of wine, which will flow throughout the evening.
You will then take a seat for an informative demonstration displaying what you’ll be making during the class – Bao of course but also a delightfully fresh crisp Asian Salad to balance the oh-so-delicious Gua Bao.
Once you have absorbed a whole host of Bao tips and knowledge, you will get hands-on and recreate these little dreams – with the help of our knowledgeable chefs and more glasses of wine!
At the end of the class, you will get to sit and enjoy your creations amongst great company and even more wine.
You will leave this Bao Class a pro and perhaps a little obsessed – like us, taking your knowledge home to impress your friends & family!

We want people to enter the kitchen with a smile and to leave with a bigger one.
Offering anything from short and sociable public (and sometimes boozy) classes, to corporate events, private hens, kids parties and online masterclasses – you name it, we do it.
Come and have a laugh while learning a new skill – you won’t regret it!
