In this technique-led class, we'll teach you how to make Chinese dumplings and bao entirely from scratch (yes, that includes the skins!).

From refining your knife skills to knowing how and when to use key Chinese condiments, these skills will last a lifetime. We'll practice different folding techniques before steaming dumplings and cooking them in broth.

When making bao buns, you'll learn how to properly knead dough in order to make soft, pillowy steamed buns filled with a hoisin mushroom filling—and gain the confidence to make bao buns with any filling you choose at home.
