It’s an absolute privilege to bring these recipes to life. They are recipes you won't find at your local Indian. These are the real deal, authentic Indian dishes you can recreate at home.
Most dishes in this class are gluten free. This class is 100% plant-based. Please advise when booking if you are gluten free so we can accommodate you.
The class is loaded with simple and flavoursome recipes. Wholesome Bellies’ classes are for all levels as all recipes are simple, using only a few key ingredients.

The class is 100% plant-based, except for the Samosa. Unfortunately, we are unable to make them gluten-free.
Hi, I’m Fiona, a passionate plant-based, home cook.
Wholesome Bellies was created from my passion for healthy eating and cooking. A home cook since my teens, I grew up in the hospitality industry, spending most weekends since my early teens at our family restaurant. My mum was the head chef and I was surrounded by incredible cooks.
Wholesome Bellies is a resource to help you create simple, nourishing, plant-based meals in your kitchen. My intention is to inspire you to fall in love with vegetables, and learn how to transform plants into mouth-watering, unbelievable meals your friends and family will keep coming back for.
We'll guide you through the layered preparation of a few traditional curries, and some lively accoutrements to round out your meal. Our rotating menu of authentic Indian recipes changes with the seasons. Please note that the below menu is only a sample and is subject to seasonal availability.Â
During this class, get creative with different spices and cooking techniques to create some beautiful curries from around the world. Â
Join our Indian cooking Tutor as she prepares a variety of curries for you to sample. Everybody's favourite Butter Chicken, Dahl Curry plus a seafood and a vegetarian curry. Demonstration course with students receiving generous samples of all of the dishes.
In this class we will all cook & share the feast: Butter Chicken, Zucchini & Eggplant poakora with mint chutney, Saffron Rice, Fish Dopiaza, Cuccumner & potato salad, and more…come along and enjoy a spicy class full of flavours and textures from the most colourful culture!
