You’re invited to get saucy with the Chefs at Cook Street! This two-class course will cover all of the techniques behind the Mother Sauces and their derivatives, and the various applications of the sauces. You’ll also learn a variety of modern and dessert sauces and how to use them to complement a dish.
Learn to build an entire dish around a base sauce as well as use sauces as accoutrements to a meal. Enjoy several dishes utilizing your new-found talents, with wines to pair! Each day you will study a variety of cooking methods and use them to create a menu. Wines will be chosen to pair with your meal!
Day One:
Espagnole
Sauce Tomate

Gastrique

The Professional Culinary Program is designed to enhance the amount of time you spend in the kitchen rather than behind a desk. From day-one to graduation you could be working in the field within a year. Based on French & Italian classic fundamentals, you will learn everything you need to jump-start your career.
Private or Group Class is offered by Kids Who Cook. In all classes, everything is very hands-on and everybody gets a chance to do a little of everything. The children are taught how to clean up and then everyone sits to eat what was made
Cooking Techniques Risottos, Grains, & Potatoes is an in-depth study of how to cook these items without the need for recipes. It is an in-depth study, teaching the most-used techniques of the classically trained chef.Â
Do you own a wok but you have no idea what to cook in it? Do you love the idea of "cooking faster and healthier"? Well during this class we'll teach you all the "essentials" you need to know in order to be confident and successful while using your wok.
Three of our favorite ingredients are highlighted in this indulgent menu. The three B’s of cooking are sure to bring flavor to any dish. After this class, you can take one, two, or all three of these ingredients and bring your cooking to a new level!
We are proud to give cooking classes for 14 people and up, from basic to advanced level, introducing clients to the importance of nutrition to the fun aspect of cooking.
