Our classes are very hands-on with everyone making their own dish from scratch and creating something to be proud of! Everything is provided at our classes, so children can simply come along and get cooking.
Every week we make something different with inspiration taken from dishes around the world. With a selection of gorgeous sweet and savoury dishes on alternate weeks there is plenty of opportunity to learn about different ingredients. With such a variety of dishes we try plenty of different preparation techniques....from icing to dicing we do it all!
Whilst everyone's tasty treats are cooking, our Cook Stars are entertained with fun food-related games as well as craft activities. Some examples are testing our senses with blindfolded food tasting or getting crafty and making edible accessories.
Our classes are centred around fun and enjoyment but our children also learn important practical life skills and healthy eating messages along the way. We aim to empower children to make healthy food choices independently and provide all our budding Cook Stars with the basics to stand them in good stead for life.
We keep our classes small to offer help and support but working independently is encouraged. We believe getting 'stuck in' is key to developing confidence in the kitchen.
Our Cook Stars team is passionate about cooking and we simply LOVE good food! We share our love of cooking through teaching children and teenagers how to create their very own dishes from scratch.
Delivery of practical cooking & diet education classes for children and adults.
Kids and teens will be encouraged to try new tastes and ingredients while cooking at Jules Cuisine Junior, introducing them to a wide range of locally sourced foods.
We’ll focus on essential cooking skills like dough making, trying our hand at soft pretzels, ciabatta or pizza. We’ll create tasty pasta dishes, and rustle up delicious sweet treats like cookies and brownies.
During the class the children will have fun with food, learn about the health benefits of the ingredients used and create a tasty, healthy recipe – either uncooked, or prepare it to take home and cook with an adult.
The kitchen is a great place for families to spend some quality time together! This course will teach you and your child lots of useful cookery skills, along with delicious dishes you can whip up as a team.
