MESA KIDS Cooking School is specially designed for children who have the desire to learn how to bake and cook. We teach children modern techniques but also classics used in the culinary industry across the world. Classes are taught by culinary instructors that value the joy in teaching the culinary arts and encourage learning and creativity. We provide a kitchen that is a safe environment.
No need for take out menus once you've mastered the art of making this Chinese meal. You'll learn to fill and fold the dumplings for soup; create egg rolls from scratch; and produce two simple but delicious main courses.
Soups are a great dish to have any time! You can make a pot of soup on your day off, and enjoy easy meals for a few days afterward. Did you go a little crazy at the farmer's market? Use up those fresh spring veggies in a delicious soup!
Ring in the year of the rabbit with vegetarian momos (a Tibetan dumpling), egg rolls, and spicy mapo tofu. This class is filled with knife skills, dough making, and dumpling shaping and will be fun for novice cooks and experts alike.

Learn to make Chinese dumplings! In this workshop, students will make homemade dumpling wrappers AND two types of fillings, vegetable and pork. Students will learn to fill, pleat, pan fry, and steam dumplings. Just in time to celebrate the Chinese Lunar New Year!
