Your group will be led by one of our talented home cooks or chefs in a cultural exchange, developing new business skills, while taking a deep dive into a different culture through food. After the hands-on experience, everyone will dine together, sharing the satisfaction of creating a new cuisine and discovering secrets to an unexplored culture.
Each event is unique to your company's team goals and budget. We can create simple events in a home kitchen or use one of our partner kitchens in the Austin area.

Freda's Kitchen brings those experiences to life through hands-on cooking experiences for friends, family, or teammates. Our international chefs bring authentic flavors from their family recipes, bringing people together to create magic around the kitchen counter.
Taste of Innovation is our unique cooking team building program that encourages creativity and innovation. Instead of working from recipes, like our other programs, participants are given a “mystery basket,” similar to Chopped or Iron Chef.
There’s nothing easy about our Culinary Arts curriculum, which will immerse you in both traditional and emerging flavors from every corner of the world. You’ll cover a range of cuisines from Mexican to Middle Eastern as you study:
Learn to make the incomparable Zuni Roast Chicken (served over quinoa in in a preparation we repeatedly hear described as "the first quinoa dish I've every enjoyed"), make a "portable salad" perfect as warmer weather bring entertaining outside and an excellent prep for Spring's asparagus!
We are proud to give cooking classes for 14 people and up, from basic to advanced level, introducing clients to the importance of nutrition to the fun aspect of cooking.
Join Lucia as she teaches you how to craft light and fluffy gnocchi by hand. We will make spinach ricotta gnocchi and top them off with a homemade tomato cream sauce. You will then make a fennel and endive salad with toasted almonds, topped with fresh goat cheese for an Italian dinner
