Each of our chefs has years of experience teaching people how to cook, from 12-year-old Chopped Canada Junior contestants (yes, really!) and college-bound teens, to the most discerning of foodies & the most green of novices.
Our passion for cooking and sharing specially crafted gourmet dishes, made with fresh ingredients, led us to launch the Gastro Market.
We’re three professional chefs with a desire to share our love of great food. Our mission is to deliver a fun, personable and welcoming experience to both the newbie foodie and the seasoned home-chef.
We offer a wholesome yet upscale and innovative approach to your run-of-the-mill prepared food items from typical big-box grocery stores. From our locally sourced fresh food market to delicious ready-to-serve meals, upscale private dining experiences, and lively cooking classes, we’re ready to share our passion with you.
The course is suitable for beginners and aspiring cooks who’d want to grasp basic culinary concepts and be exposed to effective cooking methods
During this full-time two year program, you will be trained in all aspects of the culinary trade including foundational cooking techniques, garde manger, introduction to global cuisines, patisserie and culinary management which includes courses such as hospitality mindset, teams and cultures
This program is designed by professional Chefs for individuals looking to enter the Culinary world as cooks and ultimately become Chefs themselves. We will prepare graduates to work successfully in the foodservice industry
The Personal Chef program will not only provide you with the tools and skills necessary to operate a business, it will equip you to run a successful business
It is an intensive 600-hour training program that combines the culinary skills and techniques from Cook Basic Level 1 and the advanced culinary techniques and business management skills from Cook Advanced Level 2
