It is a dance technique that takes place on the floor. It aims to develop muscle tone, amplitude and joint flexibility. Lying on the floor, the dynamic alignment of the body is worked through targeted exercises inspired by basic ballet exercises that are traditionally done using a bar.
Accessible to all, the approach is a good way to develop the right muscular action and the desired physical sensation because it is freed from gravity and body weight without having to maintain balance as in a standing position. For example, this approach is ideal for someone who is recovering from an injury.

Our Flex instructor has completed specialty training, to guide our students through the Alixa Flexibility program. Safe and effective methods and techniques will be implemented, to improve flexibility.
Class consists of Cardio, Stretching & Core strength. Ideal for dancers who want to add to their training each week in a class that focuses on the mind & body.
