For the true legendary Wokstars our Full Day Understanding the wok cookery classes are just the thing for you. You’ll master the art of creating the perfect smokey Wok-hey and unlock all the tips and tricks on how to use your wok effectively. Our team of chefs will also show you how to perfectly season and store and your wok for optimum wokking.

You’ll be shown to make tasty Salmon Bites in XO sauce and Jiaozi, authentic egg fried rice, fiery stir-fried cucumber and deliciously classic Sichuan Chicken. We’re feeling stuffed already.

 

  • Salmon Bites in XO Onion Sauce - Chunks of salmon cooked to perfection with a hit of XO sauce
  • Stir-Fried Cucumber- Strips of cucumber stir-fried with garlic, spring onions and ginger with a fiery Sichuan peppercorn and Chilli flakes kick
  • Sichuan Chicken-Classic stir-fry from the Sichuan province of China - chicken marinated in soy, sesame and five spice, stir fried with vegetables and cashew nuts cooked in a rice wine sauce.
  • Egg Fried Rice- Traditional fried rice dish served with egg and peas, flavoured with sesame oil and soy sauce.Garnished with spring onion.
  • Jiao Zi- Delectable Chinese wheat-based dumplings filled with pork mince, Chinese chives and mushrooms marinated in a light soy and sesame-based sauce.

You will learn:

  • You will learn the basics of cutting, slicing and chopping using a Chinese cleaver.

  • Our Head Chef will also introduce you to wok cooking in our specially equipped kitchen where you can awaken your inner wok-star skills!

  • You’ll be shown how to perfectly season and store your wok too!

  • Our classes also teach you the key basics of Chinese seasoning and what sauces to use to make delicious Chinese dishes every time
