No knives are used in this class. We usually make 4 items which the children can eat here or take home for later.
This class is taught by our friendly, patient and encouraging experienced chefs (whom are also parents to young children).

Sydney Cooking School opened in 2010 when Executive Chef Brett Deverall pursued his dream to share his love and passion of cooking in a fun and relaxed learning environment. Offering a range of cooking classes daily, our Neutral Bay venue is fitted with state of the art appliances and equipment from Fisher & Paykel, KitchenAid, Breville, Solidteknics, Furi and Anolon.

We offer something for everyone from the absolute beginner to the more passionate cook with many International cooking classes, barbecue classes, dessert & baking workshops , short courses and kids cooking classes throughout the school holidays.

All our cooking classes have been designed with the home cook in mind and are suitable for all ability levels. Our classes are kept small and personal so that everyone gets the most benefit out of their time at the class.
A two hour, fun-filled cooking class just right for 7-11 year olds. Each child goes home with the Christmas themed treats that they made themselves. Children learn to use a variety of kitchen skills and equipment as well as deciphering recipes.
Come and join us as we cook up a storm in our fun, exclusively small-group, hands-on class. Discover culinary skills, kitchen techniques and have fun creating the delicious menu.

In My Own Kitchen JNR is designed to teach kitchen confidence and fun to children from 8-15. Easy and safe, one-on-one in your own kitchen.
In our 12-16 year old kids cooking classes, the kids eat and interact like adults. We give them the responsibility of cooking and preparing adult recipes designed to be challenging and engaging.
