If you are a beginner chef tutor, Charlotte Pike, will introduce you to a variety of kitchen knives and teach you how to use them safely. If you have experience already, she will show you how to refine your skills. You will be taught to sharpen and maintain your blades for ultimate cutting edge precision. Feel free to bring your own knife/knives if you would like to practice with them.

After enjoying a welcome cuppa and pastry with your fellow classmates, our chef will educate you on the different types of knives and what they are used for, in addition to the different cutting styles and techniques like, julienne, macédoine and paysanne.
Menu and theme change, however your skills and confidence will grow and you will learn how the new skills translate to differing cuisines
Learn to chop, slice, dice and fillet! Join us on this knife skills class, where we will teach you all the tricks of the trade. After nearly four hours, you’ll leave with an understanding of how to choose the right knife for the job and use your knife to best advantage.

Our knife skills class is made to help you chop, slice and dice with expert tuition from our chefs. There’s plenty of practice time packed into the lesson. We introduce knife techniques for vegetables including, necessary styles such as Julienne, Chiffonade, and Macedoine.
