In 2018, my husband had medical issues which made me re-evaluate our diet and I began to revisit the cooking style and dishes that my mother had taught me.
I started learning about nutrition and the effect of a balanced diet. I began to realise that a traditional Japanese meal covered a whole range of nutrients, vitamins and minerals that are necessary for healthy living. I am pleased to say my husband fully recovered and is once again fit and healthy.
