Let our chef help you create iconic dishes and perfect Italian techniques. The Italian cooking masterclass has been a staple on the Cookery School calendar and is always popular with cooks who want to make new dishes at home.
We will make fresh bread, restaurant pasta and risotto dishes and a biscotti for dessert.
The menu we will cook at this class will be a selection of some of the following:
Focaccia bread
Fresh homemade pasta
Duck ragu
Learn how to make your own vegetable stock
Parmesan risotto
Chocolate and nut biscotti
This class lasts approximately 4 hours and you will have plenty of time to cook the dishes, sit back and enjoy your meal with a complimentary drink. It also includes a recipe pack to take home.
This class is suitable for all, as we can tweak the dishes to suit your requirements.
We offer a range of day and evening cooking classes for all ages and abilities. Each class will teach you the skills they needed to make delicious dishes that can be prepared quickly or in advance to be enjoyed with family and friends at home.
Our classes are informal and relaxed, but well structured and feature a mix of demonstration and hands-on cooking. At the end of most classes you will sit down together to enjoy the food that has been cooked along with a glass of wine, coffee or tea.

This Italian cookery course is a favourite at the College. Have you ever eaten at an Italian restaurant wishing you could recreate classic Italian food to impress your friends and family. Now is your opportunity to learn in a relaxed atmosphere.
I believe that hands-on cooking classes are the best way to learn new skills in the kitchen. I know how much the British public love watching cookery programmes and reading food magazines but I’m also aware that many are daunted at the prospect of having a go themselves.
A new course created for all you who love great Italian food! Come and learn how to make your own fresh pasta ravioli or tortellini with filling, potato gnocchi with a tomato basil sauce, and either mascarpone berry cheesecake or cannoli.
The course culminates in the dining room with participants sampling their preferred pasta dish with a glass of wine, before taking home the rest of their pasta to enjoy.
