Located in one of Hintonburg’s most storied heritage landmarks, Old Fire Station No. 11 on Parkdale Avenue, our distinctive venue boats 1700 square feet of urban-rustic culinary event space, with a contemporary open concept kitchen and communal dining area.
You will start by learning how to make Chilaquiles Rojos and Chilaquiles Verdes. These are interesting and dynamic Mexican dishes that lend themselves to be used as components of other delicious dishes that will be made in these classes, specifically, Enchiladas Rojas, Enchiladas Verdes, and Huevos
Have a bunch of tortilla-loving mini chefs in your house? Get them started preparing their own Mexican favorites at home! In this hands-on class, everyone will learn all the basics to get them on their way.
To present a unique opportunity of immersion in the vibrant tapestry of Mexican culture, outstanding cuisine, where guests will be able to craft lasting memories.
We will start with Mexican chili (make it as spicy or as mild as you want!), then we will prepare an easy vegetable fried rice, a fast and quick chickpea stew, and for dessert we will make a no fuss raspberry crumble.
North of the Mexican border, we still celebrate Dia de los Muertos, or Day of the Dead… a celebration of life and death.
