6 Months Theory & Practical Training
6 Months Experiential Training at 3 Star Venues
Either in Bloemfontein or outside of Bloemfontein
Minimum Entry Requirements:
Grade 10 with an interview with the Principal
Weekly Lay-out:
Three Days Practical Training which will either be baking or cooking
One Day Theoretical Class
Two Days Experiential Training at Hotels in Bloemfontein
On Successful Completion of Course:
City and Guilds Food Safety Certificate
City and Guilds Food Preparation Certificate

This course is for the future leaders of the Culinary Industry. It covers all major theoretical, practical and workplace components of kitchen operations, culinary practice and patisserie skill elements.
Basic Cooking Course students may join in at any one time and complete all 8 lessons at a discounted rate of R4500.00 for all 8 lessons or do one or more lessons at R600.00 per lesson.
Developed on the back of over 20 years of experience in culinary education, it provides students with a solid basis on which to build a career in the industry.
Cooking Class for Beginners is offered by Cooking class North West. Need some handles around the kitchen? Then this is for you.
The Chef Foundation Programme is a one year full-time City and Guilds Programme, designed to allow a broader spectrum of learners from different backgrounds to achieve an International accredited offering in Professional Chef Training Programme.
