Sarah has been credited with kick starting the pole dancing craze in Tasmania. Opening the doors of Tasmania's Pole Dancing and Burlesque Academy (formerly Pole Exotic Dance) in 2005, the business has continued to expand each year.
Miss Kitty's Meow, Tasmania's leading Burlesque Academy joined together to create a fabulous team, classes, parties, functions, fundraisers and events.
As time moves on, Sarah is now taking private lessons and beginners classes, and intermediate in Cambridge. Full circle, starting classes from The shearing shed, to North Hobart Queens Head Hotel and Adult Education, Moonah and now back to our fabulous Shearing Shed. Miss Kitty's Meow has only moved a few doors down in Moonah.
Dance Cirque is for children over 5 years old, (our primary & High School students, great for boys and girls and you don't need to be a dancer to enjoy it. It works on level cards so everyone progresses at their own pace.
This class focuses on the conditioning of the body. This class will help dancers gain flexibility, agility and strength. This class is intense but well worth the pain!
This class will focus on nailing your handstands, incredible balancing moves and generally improve your all over flexibility, coordination and strength.This class is open to all levels.
Stretch / Conditioning Lessons are offered by Academy Dance Studios. For the serious student who has the desire, motivation and physical facility to pursue a career in dance, our industry experts will work with you and offer you the training, support and guidance in achieving your goals.
Classes cover fitness types such as Cardio, Strength and Conditioning and more. We highly recommend these classes to any student who is participating in multiple classes or who is interested in improving their fitness.
