From the bayous of Louisiana to the coasts of the Lowcountry, no one does soulful seafood quite like our Chef! In this class, you'll learn to prepare several essentially Southern dishes served with a side of history, cooking techniques and authentic regional recipes that you can easily re-create at home. These tried and true Southern favorites are a necessary addition to your culinary repertoire!
You will first be met with a reception wine and light appetizers served with a side of Southern hospitality. You'll have a striking view of our impressive open demonstration kitchen.
You'll don your apron, roll up your sleeves and your Chef will walk you through the preparations your meal while you enjoy a sip your wine! Once you've completed your meal, you will sit down and enjoy it. You will also experience wines paired with the beautiful meal you've created.
Throughout the evening you'll learn about the recipes, food preparation, and the "why" behind the wine pairings from both your Chef and Somm.
All AWS cooking classes include an emphasis on wine, because that's who we are! You can expect 2 different wines to sample during reception/cooking and two wines paired with your meal for a total of approximately 3+ glasses.
If you would like to add more wine to your experience, you can taste 32 different wines in our Enomatics (wine dispensing system) or you can order wine by the glass or bottle.
Vino Venue offers a wine-friendly menu of bistro-style cuisine designed for sharing, plus a fine selection of charcuterie, cheese and handcrafted desserts. Try house favorites like the Mushroom Flatbread, crispy Pork Belly Tacos or the 24-hour honey soy-braised Beef Short Ribs.
Cast iron cooking, searing scallops, savory fruit juice reduction, using herbs, Polenta 101; sauté.

Cajun Cooking class is offered by Nashville Cooking Class. This seafood heavy class will  leave you feeling like you just left New Orleans (Without the Smell).
