Most of the flavor of Texas BBQ comes from the fat in the meat that’s been dry rubbed and cooked slow and low, and the sauce is traditionally served on the side.
To twist the flavors, Chef Jen serves her pork ribs with a sweet and vinegary Carolina BBQ sauce and mouthwatering side dishes from both regions. While the ribs are slow cooking, you’ll be busy creating the sauce and side dishes for your BBQ feast!

Come take a class on barbeque from all over the world. We will teach you how to make your own rubs, wet and dry mixes, and barbeque sauces, fruity and savory and spicy. We also will cover North Carolina, Texas, Korean, Japanese, and Indian-style barbeques
Come join us to learn the art of wood-fired, Texas-style BBQ cooking. Over the course of three hours, our expert pit-masters will guide you through the process of creating mouth-watering, smoky BBQ that will have your friends and family begging for more.
Join us in creating your own Steakhouse Dinner. You and your guest will create a wonderful dinner centered around a tender cut of Certified Angus Beef Filet grilled to your desire and paired with Hasselback Potatoes, Creamed Spinach and a Tomato Salad.
Barbeque class is offered by Rick's Cooking School. During each class, we take your recipes or mine to the next level. You will finish the class with the confidence to entertain and cook for your family and friends and, more importantly, you’ll be able to use these skills for a lifetime.
