In this hands-on cooking class, the chef will take you deeper into the world of sushi making. You’ll tackle Japanese knife skills, and practice all the techniques you need to make your own sushi at home, including perfect rice, rolling techniques, proper knife skills and more.
During this fun, hands-on experience, you'll learn all the skills needed to make sushi rolls at home, including how to prepare sushi rice, select sushi-grade fish at your local market and how to add additional tasty ingredients that enhance your roll.
In this class our chef will let you in on everything you'll need to make your own sushi at home. We'll cover the fundamentals: shopping for ingredients, how to prepare the rice and dipping sauces, equipment and techniques needed.
You and your friends will learn to cook delicious and healthy Japanese cuisine, and if desired, can enjoy a sake tasting.
What’s more fun than eating sushi? Learning to make it with your special someone. Brush up on knife skills and get plenty of practice with rolling techniques. Plus, we’ll show you how to make seasoned rice, whisk dipping sauce and fry tempura shrimp to crisp perfection.
