DurationWe will use a selection of vegetables such as carrot, cucumber, pepper, and avocado with an optional extra of egg, smoked salmon, or prawn. No raw fish will be used in this session.
Sushi is naturally gluten-free and up to you which fillings to choose from so suitable for vegans too.

Learn about different sushi and Japanese dishes in class offered by Lemon and Soul.The dish we will make can vary from class to class, depending on the season and availability of ingredients.
This beginners sushi class features a mix of both unusual and more familiar ingredients with lots of tips and tricks from an experienced sushi chef.
At the Edinburgh New Town Cookery School you will be shown the simple techniques of preparing fish and vegetables for sushi and will have a go at making it yourself. In the afternoon, after lunch, you will have a go at other Japanese recipes, which you can take home with you.
