There is no better way to enjoy a wine, ice cold beer or sangria, than with a delicious array of Spanish tapas. In this adventurous class, you will be preparing a 5 course tapas set, accompanied by a delicious Sangria.
The adventure of course begins at the vibrant and colourful South Melbourne Market, where Lola will teach you the secrets to choosing the freshest and tastiest ingredients for the dishes. You will be personally introduced to some of her best sellers, and have the chance to taste and delight in the deliciousness of the market.
Once we are back in the kitchen, the real adventure begins. On the menu is:
Gazpacho - the flavour of a hot Andalusian summer night
Spanish Tortilla - any Spanish families staple dish
Black Rice (ink squid) with calamari and prawns
Pa amb tomaquet - the simple but delicious way of eating Catalan bread
Croquettes with Jamon Serrano (Spanish Prosciutto)
Prosecco Sangria
Our chef will always be close by to answer your questions, and as always the class is full of Spanish language, culture, music, dance and laughter! Once your five-course feast is prepared, we will celebrate and eat together with a glass of our delicious Sangria.
