Course Details

Savour the flavours of Portugal with recipes that merge the essence and techniques of a melting pot of Mediterranean cultures. Explore the influences of the Portuguese cuisine and embrace the spices and typical ingredients of Mediterranean including olive oil, onions, garlic, coriander, paprika, chili peppers and red sweet peppers.

 

Techniques you will learn:

  • The tutor will demonstrate how to  make your own dry rub and marinade the chicken in an authentic Portuguese marinade and cook to sizzling perfection.
  • You will make your own Dando’s secret Piri Piri sauce recipe and take a bottle home with you.
  • You will get to make a small plate of Devilled Chicken Livers on the class using the marinade you have prepared as a light bite
  • You will also make and take home an accompaniment of Sweet Potato and Sour Cream Mash

Full recipes including ingredients list and method are provided for you to take home to add to your repertoire so you can keep on cooking them time and time again
