You’ll be guided by Edo’s skilled chefs, making rolling sushi easy. Ask any questions you’ve ever thought about or wondered why… and we’ll have the answers for you (as long as it's sushi-related)!
By the end of the course, you’ll have practiced and made many kinds of sushi rolls, and leave feeling confident you can make it at home for friends and family! You’ll also have plenty of sushi to takeaway.

This class focuses on Maki Sushi (Rolls). Yuki will teach you how to roll four different types of Maki, as well as the unique Gunkan sushi.

At the Edinburgh New Town Cookery School you will be shown the simple techniques of preparing fish and vegetables for sushi and will have a go at making it yourself. In the afternoon, after lunch, you will have a go at other Japanese recipes, which you can take home with you.
