You’ll learn some basic facts about sushi and Japanese food.
You’ll be guided by Edo’s skilled chefs, making rolling sushi easy. Ask any questions you’ve ever thought about or wondered why… and we’ll have the answers for you (as long as it's sushi-related)!
By the end of the course, you’ll have practiced and made many kinds of sushi rolls, and leave feeling confident you can make it at home for friends and family! You’ll also have plenty of sushi to takeaway.

This class is all about authentic sushi recipes, preparation and knife skills.
It's not always raw fish, you can also use cooked fish or just vegetables for home cooking.
Yuki will guide you through an array of stunning, yet easy-to-create, Japanese dishes which are exciting, naturally nourishing and delicious. Making the most of simple and accessible ingredients grown locally in the UK, Yuki will help to demystify regional and traditional Japanese cooking technique...
We will tell you how to source the right ingredients for your sushi making journey, including rice and fish, as well as context behind the food and how to eat sushi the traditional way.
On this course we will teach you how to perfect cooking sushi rice and practice rolling sushi. You'll also learn all about Japanese ingredients such as miso, soya sauce, shiitake mushrooms and rice vinegar.
