I’m a spice-loving, garden-obsessed chef and explorer of cultures with over sixteen years in the sustainable food movement.
I’ve worked on a farm, in food policy, with non-profits and government agencies in various aspects of food and agriculture. I loved it all so much that I got a Masters in Agriculture, Food, & Environmental Policy at Tufts Nutrition School. Since then I’ve been teaching cooking classes for all ages!
Thai food is extremely popular and one of my favorites, yet it’s often loaded with added sugar. In this class, we will make a curry that capitalizes on healthy fats, is gluten-free, and contains a much lower amount of added sugar.
Not only is vegetarian food incredibly delicious and varied, but it is the best way to stock up on your anti-oxidants and phyto-nutrients - and yes!! You can get everything you need a vegetarian meal, without any meat or fish!

Vegan Cooking class is offered by Rick's Cooking School. During each class, we take your recipes or mine to the next level. You will finish the class with the confidence to entertain and cook for your family and friends and, more importantly, you’ll be able to use these skills for a lifetime.
You don’t need to be a vegan to attend this class but have an appreciation for a plant-based meal with vibrant spices and flavors. This class will have a combination of dishes with food that is loaded with nutrients, antioxidants, great flavor, texture, creativity, and deliciousness!
