This is an introduction to the basic principles of tourism and critical skills needed to effectively create a travel itinerary. While travellers themselves will have an idea what they want, it is still down to the organiser to identify the best flights, hotel rooms and ground transport arrangement...

The programme progresses through three levels. Each N level takes place over one semester. After each semester, students are eligible for a National Certificate on that level. We recommend continuing through all three levels in order to qualify for the National Diploma.

Tourism  course certification is offered by Tshwane South College. As a public institution, TSC and her counterparts’ fundamental mandate is to indiscriminately equip South Africa’s young people with vocational and occupationally directed skills at intermediate level.

This certificate will provide access to the following employment opportunities: Conference and Events Planner, Tourism Development Officer, Transportation Manager, Travel Counsellor, Game Ranger, Adventure Guide, Safari Operator.
