The course will study the legal obligations contained within TG20:21, BSEN12811-1 and The Work at Height Regulations 2005 covering the provision and use of scaffolding, the correct terminology and components, and the construction standards required to ensure safe places of work.

The course covers key health and safety aspects and legal requirements for having a strict and robust onsite scaffolding inspection procedures in place and of company processes and procedures to enable them to fulfil their role in the company operations.

Managing Scaffold Operations Safely provides you with the knowledge to manage and control scaffolding operations safely. You will learn about the current legislation, your responsibilities as a manager and how to conduct scaffolding safety procedures correctly.

This basic Scaffold Inspection course is for all personnel required to inspect scaffolds. Suitable for site supervisors, managers and Health and Safety Advisors of whom may have a responsibility for carrying out basic scaffold inspections on site in compliance with TG20:21 only.
