Described as Yoga and Dance on silks, Aerial Body Conditioning is a new, fun way to add variety to your practice. Experience deeper stretching and strengthening with poses you otherwise may not have the strength to achieve.
Aerial Body Conditioning improves circulation and freedom in the entire body and creates a serene lightness of being. No experience in Yoga or Dance required, just a ‘give it a go’ attitude! Classes available for Teens and Adults, males and females.
Aerial Body Conditioning is a fun, challenging workout routine combining aspects of Yoga, Pilates, Aerial Arts and Strength Training. Using a Yoga Hammock, these classes are designed to increase strength, mobility, balance and flexibility, and you will have a great time while doing it!
A total mind and body workout for those who want to combine fitness with FUN.
These classes are run termly for $160.00 per term. Fees are to be paid in advance to secure your space in the class.
Due to limited class spaces each term, we often have waitlists for these classes, so contact the office to enrol or be placed on our waitlist for the next available space!
AMJAZZ Dance Studios is a family owned business. Nikki Wilkinson is the Director and Principal teacher at the studios and Pam Shanks, Nikki’s Mum is also a technical Teacher and Choreographer.
Sandra is our Administrator in the Office and we have a staff of 7 Teachers/Assistants that work part-time and all offer a wealth of experience from their years of dancing and teaching.
AMJAZZ Dance Studios is a technical training dance school which offers specialized and structured dance classes, providing each dancer with solid training in both technique and performance. In each of our genres, students are encouraged to achieve, and grow as a dancer and an artist.
We ask that all new dancers enrol by contacting the Office or using the Contact Us page on this website.
Dance conditioning classes are for ballet, jazz, contemporary dancers who want to work on alignment and control to improve their dance technique.
In aerial we often work our arms, abs and upper body more than that beautiful booty! A full hour of glute, legs and lower body comin at ya!
This is a class with a basis in pilates, yoga and functional movement aimed at those who want to strengthen and tone while working on core strength, functional movement, endurance and balance.
The 60-minute barre fitness class targets all muscle groups and effectively tones, strengthens, and lengthens them. Leave no muscles untouched as we work them to exhaustion then stretch out for relief.
Our technique, strength and flexibility class is the perfect addition to your weekly dance classes.
