Bernard & Ya Holdings Limited trading as Tree House is a New Zealand Qualifications Authority (NZQA) registered and accredited Private Training Establishment, has a head office in Auckland, and training facilities in Auckland and Wellington.
We work predominantly with people interested in the hospitality, retail and security industries at foundation level, along with increasing the skill level of those currently working with customers in these sectors. Small class sizes with a maximum of 12 students per intake allowing students to have lots of hands-on experience. Students will finish the course with machine knowledge, sensory demonstrations and introduction into bean knowledge and basic coffee roasting.
The origins, harvesting and processing of coffee beans and the importance of high-quality, fresh ingredients so coffee is fit for service.
The aim of this programme is to provide competent employees for the food and beverage sector who are able to work as entry-level service personnel providing table service and as baristas in the hospitality industry.
In this course you will obtain knowledge of Latte Art along with how to make a range of coffee beverages and understand how to extract coffee to make the perfect cup.
Being a Barista is a fine art, join our short programme to learn how to make coffee’s like a pro. By completing this programme you will enhance your opportunities to gain employment or simply learn to use that flash machine you have at home.
