Each class will start with a core-focused cardio warm-up, moving to a combination of arm exercises, and then followed by a series of movements to work the legs and seat. Stretches are incorporated throughout with a focused cool down at the end of each class.
Barre Fitness is a full-body workout that focuses on low impact, high intensity movements to lift and tone muscles.
Students will use the ballet barre, with the option to use additional light equipment, in a series of isometric strength exercises that lead to improvements in posture, agility, flexibility and overall strength, with a focus on core stability throughout.
Modifications for specific exercises help make Barre an effective workout for all bodies. This session class combines hip hop, jazz and tumbling for your active 3-6 year old. No shoes or special clothing required but a great way to burn some energy, try out some new dance moves to great music and meet some new friends!
Conditioning improves technique and performance in all forms of dance by strengthening the body’s core while developing coordination, balance, alignment and optimizing flexibility.
This program is geared towards both children and young adults of all movement abilities. Industry Movers will focus on the positive reinforcement of rhythm and therapeutic movement for clients at all levels of development and physical abilities.
