Barre Fitness is a full-body workout that focuses on low impact, high intensity movements to lift and tone muscles.
Students will use the ballet barre, with the option to use additional light equipment, in a series of isometric strength exercises that lead to improvements in posture, agility, flexibility and overall strength, with a focus on core stability throughout.
Modifications for specific exercises help make Barre an effective workout for all bodies. Music students can choose from private lessons in: piano, violin, woodwinds, guitar, drums, and vocal music. Our acting classes encourage imagination and self-expression. For students interested in visual arts, we offer classes for children and teens.
All potential students are able to enjoy one free group class or a free 15-minute private music assessment to find a class or teacher that is the perfect fit. Tumbling classes are offered by The Dance Theatre Performing Arts. Instruction in gymnastic moves from a dancer’s perspective.
This class concentrates on stretching and strengthening principles for dancers who would like to increase their range of motion and increase their cardiovascular fitness.
Developed to specifically target these three muscles groups while continuing to tone and strengthen the body as a whole. You will definitely be feeling the burn with this class… go with it, you will be glad you did!
