Basic through advanced skill levels are addressed while a variety of kitchen skills and techniques are integrated throughout each session.
We cook fresh, local and seasonal. Classes cover all skill levels, last about 3 hours and include participation instruction, 3-4 menu items and Pellegrino with techniques and tips integrated throughout.
Founded in 1995 by Chris Coppola Leibner, Just Simply… Cuisine is a cooking school, kitchen, edible garden, recipe platform and food advice network.
Through a grassroots sharing of simple techniques, doable recipes and “easy to find” quality ingredients, Just Simply… Cuisine aims to give home cooks back their kitchens. We “eat with intention” and “know where our food comes from”.
Just Simply… Cuisine also offers a host of activities designed to engage the community and provide information on food issues, health and eco-friendly living. Key to our outreach are active partnerships with select entities whose shared purpose is to improve our food supply.
The Culinary Arts program prepares students for careers in the visitor and hospitality industries that are vital to the San Antonio and South Texas economy. The industry has grown handsomely in the recent past and is currently the city's second-largest industry.
In this class, we will cover recipes that use more unfamiliar pickling mediums, such as whey, oil, salt, soy sauce, miso, rice bran, and more for unique flavors and textures. Come out and learn the cure for the common pickle!
Science of Herbs and Spices Class is offered by Be Well. Learn how to use herbs and spices, infused oils, mixed herbs, mixed spices, herb butter and more.
You go home with at least half a dozen jars of delicious end of summer fruit jam to share and enjoy. A Studio classic and our last class of the summer session. Hope to see you there! Take your handiwork home to enjoy, we snack on Chef Andrea's creations in class.
As team members, colleagues and friends learn about essential Indian culinary techniques, spices and new recipes, they also strengthen bonds and relationships in a fun, informal environment.
