Basic through advanced skill levels are addressed while a variety of kitchen skills and techniques are integrated throughout each session.
We cook fresh, local and seasonal. Classes cover all skill levels, last about 3 hours and include participation instruction, 3-4 menu items and Pellegrino with techniques and tips integrated throughout.

Through a grassroots sharing of simple techniques, doable recipes and “easy to find” quality ingredients, Just Simply… Cuisine aims to give home cooks back their kitchens. We “eat with intention” and “know where our food comes from”.

Our Basic Kitchen Skills series is a three-part course that equips students with a solid foundation to become a great home cook. Participants will learn essential cooking techniques, including making soups, stocks, and sauces as well as knife and butchery skills
Engage all of your senses as you learn to prepare seasonal favorites from the major world culinary influences: France, Italy, Spain, Persia, India, Morocco, Japan and Thailand.
The Art of Plating Class is offered by Balboa Catering. Cooking classes include a demo from Chef Alex Garfinkel, some friendly competition as you put your lessons into action, and a family-style meal that'll leave everyone full and happy.
